Chris Houlden, Principal Consultant in Steel Business Unit at CRU Group since 2008, after a 10 year carreer at Tata Steel where he has held a variety of roles in technical and commercial functions and latterly in the Corporate Strategy department. He has a BSc. (Hons) in Applied Physics from the University of Durham, a postgraduate diploma in Industrial Sales & Marketing from Loughborough University and an MBA from Warwick Business School in the UK.
In his current role he leads a team of Asia-focussed finished steel analysts located in Beijing, Mumbai and London, and also has editorial responsibility for CRU’s leading Steel Sheet Monitor and Steel Sheet Quarterly products. Chris has also contributed to the Plate Quarterly, Long Products Quarterly, Global Market Service for Slab and Metallics Market Service.
