Ernesto Cervera, General Manager of the Group of Economists & Associates (GEA), where he has developed more than 200 consultancy projects for the last 20 years. He is an economist from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México). He earned a master's degree in economics, and has a Doctoral degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.

The focus of his work is Industry, Infrastructure, Housing and Agricultural Economy. He was a researcher in the President's Council of Advisors (1979-1981), worked at the General Directorate of Fiscal Planning (Dirección General de Planeación Hacendaria, 1982-1985), and for “Economic Analysis Corporation” in Los Angeles (1987-1988). Also has served as economic advisor for the Foreign Affairs Secretary of Mexico (1988-1990). Nowadays he performs a comprehensive academic work, offering courses like business economics, advanced macroeconomics and microeconomics, industrial organization and monetary policy. Mr. Cervera is also a renowned analyst and commentator on radio and television specialized programs.
