Martin Woertler, Senior Partner and Managing Director in the Boston Consulting Group´s (BCG) Düsseldorf office, has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Physics from the University of Münster and holds a Doctoral Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany. 

He leads BCG's worldwide steel practice and has worked in almost every steel segment, managing multiple strategic and operational projects in areas like strategic development, the supply chain, logistics and process optimization and cost reduction, in differente countries.
