The January - February 2012 edition of the Bulletin of Economy and Markets was recently published. After presenting an innovative concept to approximate the complex economic reality, an overview of the Latin American economy, with special emphasis on Brazil and Mexico, was published.

The access to raw materials and the concerns for the measures restricting the export of the raw materials, in some regions, has generated discussions in international forums such as OECD Steel Committee. This controversy and the official position of different governments around the world it was analyzed in an article of this Bulletin.
